The Lepel Connection

On familytreeDNA I had a match,

My sister, Rina Fox, had the same match,

I contacted Elaine, and received a reply,

My great-grandfather Izaak Rapoport ( hypothesis ) came from Lepel, in Vitebsk, now Belarus.

I would assume his father , Zalman/ Solomon Rapoport also came from Lepel.

Could this be Leib, son of Shalom, and wife Pessy?

Is Zalman here, the same Zalman , father of Izaak?

That is, if they are the same person, did Zalman have Izaak from another wife or Izaak has not yet been accounted for?

Could the following be my relationship to Elaine Frank?

Pessakh and wife Sara

Pessakh definitely had a wife called Sara, as mentioned in the letters.

What is her surname?

In the Glos Gminy newspaper of February 1938 there is a Hirsz Rapoport marrying a Sara Cukier.

The year is about right.
Could there be a mistake?
Maybe he was Pessakh Hirsz?

I could not find any Hirsz Rapoports in any obituaries or other documentation.

The season of the wedding is winter.
Are the people in the photo wearing winter clothes? Maybe yes.

In the List of Jews in Legionowo in 1940, I noticed a few Cukiers.

I noticed a Szmul Cukier ( age 62 ) in Reymonta 62
              a Hirsz Cukier ( age 60 ) in Jagiellowska 30
              a Khaya Cukier ( age 52 )
        all living close to Slowackiego Street, where Pessakh and Sara lived.

Could they be related to Sara?
